Centenarian celebrates birthday on ‘hog’

Last year, Rae Fest chartered a sightseeing flight over the Central Oregon Cascades to mark her birthday. She was 99 years old.

Fest turned 100 on Saturday.

“We’re gonna whoop it up,” she said late last week, anticipation written all over her face.
