PRINEVILLE - It's been a rough two months for Alice Stitzel.

Her husband of 60 years, Marion, a fixture in Pacific Northwest horse racing, died from pulmonary fibrosis June 8 during the race meet at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo in their hometown of Union. A month earlier her son....
