Millican East Fire nearly contained; Egley Complex kept from homes

Firefighters strengthened containment lines Wednesday on fires in Central and Eastern Oregon to keep the blazes from advancing on homes and roads.

The Millican East Fire, burning 19 miles northwest of Brothers and 24 miles south of Prineville, was at 90 percent containment as of 6 p.m.....
