Women's race isn't gone forever

A schedule conflict led to cancellation this year, but organizers expect the division to return in '08

The women's division of the Cascade Cycling Classic - an on-again, off-again part of Central Oregon's annual bicycle stage race since the mid-1980s - is off again.

But race organizers are confident that the lapse will be for only one year, and that the women's division will return to the Classic....
