Fireworks start 2.5-acre blaze on Pilot Butte

A different type of fire display spread across about 2.5 acres of Pilot Butte on Wednesday night, as five blazes grew into a single fire during the July Fourth fireworks display in Bend.

Firefighters expected to have the blaze contained at about 12:30 a.m.

At least two of the fires were started....
