Melville James Rue, of Redmond, died Monday. He was 82.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Sisters. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Valley View Cemetery in Silverton.
