Developer makes $12M bid for club

Portland developer Tom Brenneke is trying to raise the stakes in the high-stakes poker game over west Bend's Broken Top Club.

Brenneke offered to pay $12 million Tuesday to buy the club himself from the Seattle trust that has held it since January for the benefit of two teenage girls.
