Bend to adopt budget, consider fee hikes

The Bend City Council will consider many money matters at its meetings next week, including its first ever biennial budget.

Councilors are expected to adopt the two-year, nearly $450 million budget for 2007-09. The proposed budget has been approved by the city budget committee.
