Elks hit pair of grand slams in win

Chase Powell had one of those nights that baseball players often dream about.

Powell belted two grand slam home runs in leading the Bend Elks to a convincing 18-2 victory over the Central Oregon Bucks in a nonleague collegiate wood-bat baseball game Tuesday night at Vince Genna Stadium.
