Bend-La Pine School Board OKs budget

Proposed UGB expansion concerns board members and district officials

The Bend-La Pine School Board approved a $118 million 2007-08 budget with little fanfare at its Tuesday meeting. But board members expressed concern about a proposed urban growth boundary expansion Bend city officials made public Tuesday morning.

The board voted 5-1 to approve the budget.....
