Bend rallies from a five-run deficit against Gresham, but loses the lead in the ninth

It was a perfect evening for baseball as fans munched on peanuts and hot dogs, sipped cold beverages, and watched kids chase after foul balls and Homer the mascot.

Nearly everything that could go right did - except for the home team winning on opening night.
