Your article about Lois Gumpert in a recent Bulletin was very well done. However, you missed one very important honor bestowed on Lois. In 1995, she was crowned Deschutes Pioneers’ Queen at the age of 80 years.
There was a very beautiful picture of her and an article in the paper....
