Deputies to hold mock evacuations

Sheriff's deputies and other organizations will run a mock evacuation of the Deschutes River Woods subdivision south of Bend from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday to train emergency responders and educate the public, according to a news release from the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
