ALFALFA - Shortly before noon Wednesday, there is a sudden spurt of activity at Alfalfa Store & Feed. A string of people, all regulars in Claudia Green's store, come in to return movies, pick up newspapers and buy gas.
A few minutes later, each customer goes on his or her way and the outpost....
