Family advocate appointed to Sisters City Council

Attentiveness, research ability cited to explain her selection

The Sisters City Council is set to swear in family advocate Shawna Bell as its new city councilor at its meeting tonight, filling a seat vacated by Judy Trego in early April.

Bell was one of two applicants, both of whom the City Council interviewed earlier this month.
