No luck for Bend golfers at U.S. Open qualifier

AURORA - Four golfers from Central Oregon were among 83 finishers in a local qualifying tournament for the U.S. Open Championship staged last Wednesday at Langdon Farms Golf Club.

None of the four, all from Bend, advanced to sectional qualifying, set for June 4 at Gold Mountain's Olympic course....
