Two BAT routes might change

East side of Bend may get better service

Proposed changes to Bend Area Transit's bus routes mean that riders on the east side of the city won't have to walk as far to get to a bus stop.

But the buses would run less frequently than they do now.

Under the plan, routes 5 and 6 would turn into loops at their ends, with one circling around....
