20-year spokesman leaving troubled electric company

Jim Crowell won't say whether co-op's recent problems were a factor

Central Electric Cooperative's longtime spokesman plans to retire at the end of this month after 20 years with the company, he told The Bulletin this week.

The announcement comes as the Redmond-based power utility continues to refuse to answer questions about money-losing subsidiary companies....
