High lakes open to huge crowds of anglers and a good catch

The parking lot at Big Lava Lake was jampacked and cars were parked all the way out to Cascade Lakes Highway.

Anglers had waited for months for the high lakes to open for fishing, and they converged on Central Oregon in force last weekend.
