The Nature of Words, Central Oregon's annual literary event, invites community members, readers, writers and book lovers to volunteer for the 2007 festival, which will feature such authors as poet Ted Kooser and journalist Timothy Egan.

A volunteer kickoff meeting will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.....
