Sisters students restore Whychus Creek habitat

SISTERS - Sisters High School student Kali Ulmer, 17, scrabbled in the rocky soil with gloved hands on the banks of Whychus Creek, pulling up a stone nearly the size of a cantaloupe.

She settled the roots of a wood's rose plant in the hole and patted the soil back in place.
