State, national Dems trying to lure congressman to run for U.S. Senate

WASHINGTON - After weeks of wooing by the national Democratic Party, U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Springfield, said he's nearing a decision on running for Senate next year.

"Sooner is better than later," said DeFazio, who is reconsidering a run, after ruling it out earlier this year.....
