Hearing on alternative school in Bend-La Pine draws crowd

School district to consider renewal of two-year contract ending July 1

Bend-La Pine School Board's Tuesday night meeting was unusually packed, after nearly 50 people came to a public hearing regarding the district's alternative middle school.

The hearing comes as Rimrock Expeditionary Alternative Learning Middle School's two-year contract draws to an end July 1.....
