Businesses to hold fundraisers for Eklund

Several businesses are holding fundraisers for Tyler Eklund, a 14-year-old snowboarder and Bend resident who fell during a training run near Lake Tahoe, Nev., and broke a vertebra. He remains paralyzed from the neck down and is unable to breathe on his own.
