A familiar face

The Crook County Courthouse clock tower has been looking over Prineville since the early 1900s

"Prineville is one great town." Eleanor Eastman, from Putney, England, was moved to scrawl that on a wall of the clock tower atop the Crook County Courthouse. It was May 1914, and the clock, with its big brass gears and hand crank, must have still blushed with contemporaneous charm.....
