Drugs claim 6 in Deschutes in 2006

No drug-related deaths reported in either Crook or Jefferson counties

Heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine caused 212 Oregon deaths in 2006, an 8 percent increase over last year, according to a report released Thursday from the Oregon State Medical Examiner's office.
