Project to end dangerous crossings on Bend Parkway

Earlier this week, as heavy equipment rumbled into place near the Truman Avenue exit of the Bend Parkway, Tim McGinnis said he saw several people scramble across the busy expressway.

McGinnis, a project manager with the Oregon Department of Transportation, is supervising a $100,000 project....
