Former Cougar Eaton triumphs in decathlon debut for the Ducks

TUCSON, Ariz. - Ashton Eaton of Bend, a freshman at the University of Oregon, made an impressive showing in his first collegiate decathlon.

Eaton, a 2006 graduate of Mountain View High School, won his UO decathlon debut Thursday and Friday in the Jim Click Shootout.
