When Maarty Leunen signed with the University of Oregon three years ago, he joined the Ducks as part of a recruiting class that was labeled one of the best in Oregon basketball history.

What followed was two years of disappointment: 14-13 in his freshman season of 2004-05, and 15-18 last season.....
