Legislators weigh bottle bill revamp

Some plans propose additional containers to carry deposits

SALEM - Spike Bement thinks recycling is a great thing.

And he agrees that Oregon's 36-year-old bottle bill, which kept more than 1.1 billion cans and bottles out of landfills in 2005, has done good things.

But he thinks the law stinks.
