I have a confession: Gravity scares me.

Not everyday gravity, which I concede keeps all the Legos in my living room rooted to the floor and available for me to step on at 5 a.m.

No, my problem is ski gravity. That's the force at work when humans with sticks on their feet hurtle down snowy slopes....
