La Pine fire chief pushes for fire levy a fourth time

Despite three failures, La Pine Fire Chief Jim Gustafson plans to ask voters a fourth time this May to approve a proposal that would pay for nine new paramedic firefighters.

Gustafson declined to mention the specific tax rate, but said he will file with the Des-chutes County Clerk's Office....
