Area's pothole outlook is good

ODOT crews are ready to 'patch as the need exists'

Pavement is cracking and potholes are sprouting on streets and highways across Central Oregon, but the roads do not appear as bad as they did last year.

The Oregon Department of Transportation is starting to patch some potholes a few days each week, but will not switch into full road....
