Agriculture burn scorches 2.5 acres

A brush fire blackened roughly 2.5 acres and a Central Electric Cooperative power pole around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday southeast of Bend, according to a news release from the Bend Fire Department.

Nobody was injured and no structures were damaged in the fire, the release reported.
