Advocates want $15 attached to county property transactions for housing funds

SALEM - In the not-too-distant future, when you buy, transfer and divide property in Oregon, you could help the less fortunate join the ranks of homeowners.

Legislation being forwarded by affordable housing advocates would tack an additional $15 onto fees now charged for the recording of deeds,....
