Late February storms boost area snowpack

The storms that have blown through Central Oregon recently have brought a considerable amount of powder, and more is expected in the Cascades today.

As of Thursday afternoon, 5 inches of new snow had fallen on Mount Bachelor, atop 7 inches that fell Wednesday night, according to the ski area's....
