Hal Ross Fancher, of Bend, died Tuesday. He was 89.

A remembrance gathering will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bend Riverhouse Convention Center in room Cascade E.

Mr. Fancher was born June 24, 1917, in The Dalles to Harlan and Leila (Gardinier) Fancher.....
