Weekend weather for region sunny, mild

It may still be February, but holi-day weekend weather will bring sunny skies and springlike temperatures near 60 degrees for Central Oregonians.

"Enjoy yourself on Saturday," said Vincent Papol, a senior meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Pendleton.
