Shedding light on child abuse

Local training program aims to help prevent abuse by raising awareness

Sitting in the local Darkness to Light training about child sexual abuse prevention, Bend resident Subrena Bons came to a realization. The 32-year-old had known that she wasn't the only person to have been sexually abused as a child, but sometimes it still felt that way.
