More Oregonians sign up for Medicare drug program

Part D plans allow participants to change options once a year

About 24,000 Oregonians enrolled in Medicare Part D prescription drug plans during the 2007 enrollment period this fall.

The additional enrollees bring the state's total number of Medicare beneficiaries covered by a drug plan to 432,000 out of about 555,000 people who are eligible for coverage....
