I'm naming my cat Be Bop. I think Bend's little-jazz-club-that-could has more lives than any feline that's ever made me sneeze.

At the end of 2006, Be Bop closed its doors, ostensibly for good, a victim of red ink. But jazz fans and musicians rallied to re-open it on Jan. 6 for a hastily....
