Bend's Smith finishes 12th at Worlds

AROSA, Switzerland - Adam Smith of Bend placed 12th and was the top American finisher in the parallel slalom Wednesday at the International Ski Federation's Snowboard World Championships.

Smith finished just ahead of 13th-place Justin Reiter of Steamboat Springs, Colo.
