Gov. Ted Kulongoski and the Oregon State Police have asked the Legislature for two things: Money to hire 139 more troopers and a dedicated funding source for OSP.

We believe the state should hire more troopers but should not establish dedicated funding.

OSP is requesting 139 more troopers based....
