The fifth annual Great Nordeen Nordic Ski Race is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, at 9:30 a.m.

The freestyle race, which honors Central Oregon ski pioneer Emil Nordeen, starts at the Sunrise Lodge at Mt. Bachelor and descends through 36 kilometers of lava flows, hemlock and pine forest stands.....
