Oregon watches for wolves

Despite increasing numbers in western Idaho, packs have yet to cross the border to stay

This past summer, a large, black animal was caught on video north of Enterprise in northeast Oregon.

To confirm its identity, biologists went out in the area and conducted field surveys. They howled to see if there would be a response and looked around for tracks or other evidence of the animal.....
