Winnifred Catherine Metzger, of Bend, died Monday. She was 93.

Ms. Metzger was born Nov. 11, 1913, in Mishawaka, Ind., to William and Hazel Payette. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts, baking and bowling.
