LA PINE - At its first meeting Tuesday, the La Pine City Council delayed a discussion on a biomass plant proposed for the area.
Owned by Vulcan Power Co., of Bend, the plant would burn wood chips from forest thinning and could employ up to 190 people from La Pine with family wages, said Steve....
