Black ice on U.S. Highway 97 roughly 20 miles northeast of Madras caused at least a half-dozen minor accidents Thursday, including a crash involving two semitrailers that closed the highway early Thursday morning, according to a news release from the Oregon State Police.
The highway was reopened....
