Bend gives mobile home tenants break

Ordinance to protect residents when parks are redeveloped

The Bend City Council approved an ordinance Tuesday night that gives mobile home tenants more protection when the parks they live in are redeveloped. It also gives mobile home park owners a chance to build more housing when they decide to close mobile home parks to redevelop them.
