Pulitzer Prize winner Taylor Branch, author of a comprehensive series of books about the American civil rights movement, will speak in Bend next month.

Branch's appearance is part of the Nancy R. Chandler Visiting Scholar Program and will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20 at Mountain View High....
